Background

Naveen Zutshi became CIO at Databricks in January 2022, where he oversees the company’s information technology functions and plays a pivotal role in driving global scale. Additionally, Zutshi serves as a board advisor for Legit Security, Cyberstarts, and Torii. His previous experience includes serving as CIO at Palo Alto Networks.

Bringing decades of technology and R&D leadership to Databricks as its first CIO, Naveen is instrumental in driving organizational transformation. Since joining Databricks, the company's warehousing product, Databricks SQL passed $100M in ARR. During his six-year tenure as CIO at Palo Alto Networks, he spearheaded the transition to cloud-based businesses and successfully integrated numerous companies.

And then I meet a lot of customers in my role and it’s pretty amazing to see the enthusiasm and energy behind data and AI from our customers and what they are achieving using Databricks as a platform."
