Background

David Beitel co founded Zillow in 2005. Beitel oversees Zillow’s technical engineering, product and technology operations teams. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Expedia, eventually serving as CTO.

Beitel sees AI as a useful tool in helping match buyers with homes and has already deployed AI copilots for his developer teams. In addition to supporting Zillow’s transition to a location-flexible workforce, his teams are frequently coming up with new products to improve the customer experience for agents, sellers, and buyers alike.
