Office Manager

We're looking for an organized and experienced Office Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the seamless functioning of our office operations, ensuring a comfortable work environment, and facilitating various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communicate effectively. This role is an in person role that will require you to work onsite 5 days a week in our Austin office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office Administration:

    • Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory.

    • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs.

    • Oversee office security and safety procedures.

    • Manage office budget and track expenses.

  • Staff Support:

    • Provide administrative support to staff and management.

    • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.

    • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations.

    • Manage office communication and correspondence.

  • Facilities Management:

    • Coordinate office space planning and utilization.

    • Manage office cleaning and janitorial services.

    • Oversee office move and relocation projects.

    • Ensure compliance with office health and safety regulations.

  • Vendor Management:

    • Negotiate contracts with office vendors and suppliers.

    • Manage vendor relationships and performance.

    • Ensure timely payment of invoices and expenses.

  • Other Duties:

    • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

    • Assist with special projects and events.

Qualifications

  • About you:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

    • 2+ years of experience in office management or administrative role.

    • Experience working in a fast-paced/Startup environment.

    • Zoom room troubleshooting is a plus.

    • Ability to handle high volumes of activity, requests, and communication in a timely manner.

    • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
