Background

In 2017, Yael Cosset became Chief Digital Officer at Kroger, subsequently taking on the additional responsibility of CIO in 2019. In this dual capacity, he leads the charge in shaping the technology and digital landscape at Kroger, driving the evolution of a seamless digital ecosystem across the organization. Cosset brings a wealth of experience from previous c-suite positions, including Chief Commercial Officer and CIO at 84.51˚, and Global CIO of dunnhumby.

Cosset has brought Kroger's engineers, data scientists, and experience designers together and embedded them directly within the business, increasing the proximity between business decisions and AI. At the recent National Retail Federation’s Big Show, Cosset highlighted several digital transformation initiatives implemented by Kroger, such as digital ad circulars, in-store mobile technology to enhance the employee experience, and digital HR solutions with learning materials aimed at boosting retention and job satisfaction.
