Background
Rob Alexander joined Capital One over 25 years ago, and was appointed Chief Information Officer in 2007 to lead the bank’s transition into the digital age. In his role, he oversees the comprehensive IT strategy, infrastructure and architecture, as well as central management of data, information risk, and business continuity across the enterprise.
Under Rob Alexander’s leadership, Capital One transformed from a legacy bank into a software powerhouse in the financial services industry. Alexander also pushed for the company’s migration into the public cloud and ensured that Capital One was an early mover in utilizing AI/ML technology and has released customer innovations like the personal assistant app, Eno.
