Rafee Tarafdar

Rafee Tarafdar first joined Infosys in 2004 and now serves as EVP & CIO, where he is responsible for driving the company’s technology vision and strategy across all business and technology platforms. Tarafdar previous held various software roles at Virtusa, Misys and Cadem Technologies.

Leveraging more than twenty years of IT experience, Rafee Tarafdar leads the technology development and innovation efforts and to transform Infosys into an “AI First” organization. In May 2023, the company launched Infosys Topaz, its suite of AI solutions, including 12,000 AI uses cases all built to be “Responsible by design.” In order to amplify the impact of each Infosys employee and drive value for customers, the company has launched initial projects including AI assistants and specialized models, and AI builder playbooks to accelerate clients' AI programs. Infosys is also using AI to drive improvements in sustainability, energy consumption, and predictive maintenance.
