Lori Beer

Lori Beer joined JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) in 2014 as Chief Information Officer of the Corporate & Investment Bank. She was appointed Global CIO in 2017. Prior to that, Beer was Executive Vice President of Specialty Businesses and Information Technology at Wellpoint, Inc., where she was responsible for Specialty Businesses including Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Workers Compensation, Federal Government Solutions, and 1-800-contacts. She is responsible for developing an internal ecosystem of innovation.

Beer is the first CIO to sit on the JPMC operating committee and manages the firm’s $15 billion technology budget. She is focused on the rapid deployment of consumer-facing products in a highly competitive market. Beer sees AI and ML as an “assist” for employees across many use cases and encourages her teams to leverage JPMC’s massive data sets to develop entirely new solutions for customers.
